On the first day of the year, what is appropriate is gratitude. As a church celebrating 35th year anniversary, what is supper appropriate is gratitude. Looking into your personal life, man or woman, no matter what is happening, or tough it is He always makes room for thanksgiving. Thank Him for the worst things He did not allow to happen to you. Always express your appreciation to Him. He deserves your gratitude for how far He has brought in your lifetime. God will give rest, perfection and completion in the name of Jesus Christ. Psalms 105:1-45, “1O give thanks unto the LORD; call upon his name: make known his deeds among the people. 2Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him: talk ye of all his wondrous works. 3Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the LORD. 4Seek the LORD, and his strength: seek his face evermore. 5Remember his marvellous works that he hath done; his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth; 6O ye seed of Abraham his servant, ye children of Jacob his chosen. 7He is the LORD our God: his judgments are in all the earth. 8He hath remembered his covenant for ever, the word which he commanded to a thousand generations. 9Which covenant he made with Abraham, and his oath unto Isaac; 10And confirmed the same unto Jacob for a law, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant: 11Saying, Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance: 12When they were but a few men in number; yea, very few, and strangers in it. 13When they went from one nation to another, from one kingdom to another people; 14He suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, he reproved kings for their sakes; 15Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm. 16Moreover he called for a famine upon the land: he brake the whole staff of bread. 17He sent a man before them, even Joseph, who was sold for a servant: 18Whose feet they hurt with fetters: he was laid in iron: 19Until the time that his word came: the word of the LORD tried him. 20The king sent and loosed him; even the ruler of the people, and let him go free. 21He made him lord of his house, and ruler of all his substance: 22To bind his princes at his pleasure; and teach his senators wisdom. 23Israel also came into Egypt; and Jacob sojourned in the land of Ham. 24And he increased his people greatly; and made them stronger than their enemies. 25He turned their heart to hate his people, to deal subtilly with his servants. 26He sent Moses his servant; and Aaron whom he had chosen. 27They shewed his signs among them, and wonders in the land of Ham. 28He sent darkness, and made it dark; and they rebelled not against his word. 29He turned their waters into blood, and slew their fish. 30Their land brought forth frogs in abundance, in the chambers of their kings. 31He spake, and there came divers sorts of flies, and lice in all their coasts. 32He gave them hail for rain, and flaming fire in their land. 33He smote their vines also and their fig trees; and brake the trees of their coasts. 34He spake, and the locusts came, and caterpillers, and that without number, 35And did eat up all the herbs in their land, and devoured the fruit of their ground. 36He smote also all the firstborn in their land, the chief of all their strength. 37He brought them forth also with silver and gold: and there was not one feeble person among their tribes. 38Egypt was glad when they departed: for the fear of them fell upon them. 39He spread a cloud for a covering; and fire to give light in the night. 40The people asked, and he brought quails, and satisfied them with the bread of heaven. 41He opened the rock, and the waters gushed out; they ran in the dry places like a river. 42For he remembered his holy promise, and Abraham his servant. 43And he brought forth his people with joy, and his chosen with gladness: 44And gave them the lands of the heathen: and they inherited the labour of the people; 45That they might observe his statutes, and keep his laws. Praise ye the LORD.”
Job 37:5, “God thundereth marvellously with his voice; great things doeth he, which we cannot comprehend.” God will be speaking very clearly into your life this year. You are to hear Him and work with Him. God will not leave you without His voice, He will be coming to you and speak to you. He will thunder very loudly. You need to be observant, you need to be sensitive, you need to watch closely because He will speak unto. He will take you to the place where you will prosper. He will take you away from the path of destruction. The journey that will lead to death, you will not embark on such journey by the voice of God. The business that will sink your investment, you will not put your capital on it by the voice of God. You will not go where God is not sending you. Isaiah 30:21, “And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.” John 10:4, “And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice.”
Throughout 2025, God will go with you. Satan will not dictate your movements in 2025. God will order your steps in 2025, He will guide you through to the end.
Keep intact your relationship with God in the place of fellowship with Him, obedience to His divine instructions, meditating on God’s words. You will not miss your steps with God. You will not depart from His presence in the name of Jesus Christ. You are too much to be limited; you are unshakeable, unmovable, and unbendable in Christ Jesus. God will do great things in your life, which cannot be comprehend Job 37:5, “God thundereth marvellously with his voice; great things doeth he, which we cannot comprehend.” Job 5:9, “Which doeth great things and unsearchable; marvellous things without number:”
Everything about God is marvelous. Psalms 118:23, “This is the LORD’S doing; it is marvellous in our eyes.” All your problems will bring glory to Almighty God in the name of Jesus Christ.
One of the things He does is to give us victory. Throughout 2025 and beyond, victories beyond comprehension is your portion in the name of Jesus Christ. 2 Chronicles 20:12-24, “12O our God, wilt thou not judge them? for we have no might against this great company that cometh against us; neither know we what to do: but our eyes are upon thee. 13And all Judah stood before the LORD, with their little ones, their wives, and their children. 14Then upon Jahaziel the son of Zechariah, the son of Benaiah, the son of Jeiel, the son of Mattaniah, a Levite of the sons of Asaph, came the Spirit of the LORD in the midst of the congregation; 15And he said, Hearken ye, all Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou king Jehoshaphat, Thus saith the LORD unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God’s. 16To morrow go ye down against them: behold, they come up by the cliff of Ziz; and ye shall find them at the end of the brook, before the wilderness of Jeruel. 17Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the LORD with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; to morrow go out against them: for the LORD will be with you. 18And Jehoshaphat bowed his head with his face to the ground: and all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem fell before the LORD, worshipping the LORD. 19And the Levites, of the children of the Kohathites, and of the children of the Korhites, stood up to praise the LORD God of Israel with a loud voice on high. 20And they rose early in the morning, and went forth into the wilderness of Tekoa: and as they went forth, Jehoshaphat stood and said, Hear me, O Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem; Believe in the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper. 21And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed singers unto the LORD, and that should praise the beauty of holiness, as they went out before the army, and to say, Praise the LORD; for his mercy endureth for ever. 22And when they began to sing and to praise, the LORD set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten. 23For the children of Ammon and Moab stood up against the inhabitants of mount Seir, utterly to slay and destroy them: and when they had made an end of the inhabitants of Seir, every one helped to destroy another. 24And when Judah came toward the watch tower in the wilderness, they looked unto the multitude, and, behold, they were dead bodies fallen to the earth, and none escaped.”
May your eyes be upon God, may His eyes be upon you in the name of Jesus Christ. Every gathering against you, God will scatter them in the name of Jesus Christ. Your enemies will fight themselves in the name of Jesus Christ. None of your enemy will escape in the name of Jesus Christ. Without stress and sweat, you will be carrying spoils of your enemies in the name of Jesus Christ. 2 Chronicles 20:25, “And when Jehoshaphat and his people came to take away the spoil of them, they found among them in abundance both riches with the dead bodies, and precious jewels, which they stripped off for themselves, more than they could carry away: and they were three days in gathering of the spoil, it was so much.”
