1 Samuel 7:12, “Samuel took a stone and placed it between Mizpah and Shen. He named it Ebenezer, saying, “Up to here the LORD has helped us.”
There are challenges in life and one of the ways to triumph over the challenges is to give thanks. Thanksgiving is for victory in life. Every time you give thanks, you are rising up. When you murmur and complain, you will remain down. If you want to rise up, give thanks to God. Thanksgiving makes you to stand even in the face of challenges. Thanksgiving is for all times, including terrible times Psalms 34:1, “Written by David, when he pretended to be insane before Abimelech, causing the king to send him away. I will praise the LORD at all times; my mouth will continually praise him.” Psalms 103:1-3, “1By David. Praise the LORD, O my soul! With all that is within me, praise his holy name! 2Praise the LORD, O my soul! Do not forget all his kind deeds! 3He is the one who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases,”
When you thank God at all times, you will triumph at all times, when you stop thanking Him, you will start falling. Wherever you may be, whatever you are going through in life, you must give Him thanks. In all things you are passing through, there is an opportunity for you to give thanks to God. Scripture establishes the fact that we must give thanks in everything. In everything give thanks; for everything, give thanks. Philippians 4:6, “(4:6) Do not be anxious about anything. Instead, in every situation, through prayer and petition with thanksgiving, tell your requests to God.” Ephesians 5:20, “always giving thanks to God the Father for each other in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ,” 1 Thessalonians 5:18, “(5:18) in everything give thanks. For this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”
It is easier to inspire a grateful person. The more you thank Him, the more revelations come to you. Thanksgiving reveals the will of God for your life.
Thanksgiving is for triumph in life. To triumph means to remain standing in spite of challenges and battles you are passing through in life.
God averts evil from those who give Him thanks Psalms 91:7, “Though a thousand may fall beside youand a multitude on your right side, it will not reach you.” Psalms 20:7-8, “7Some trust in chariots and others in horses, but we depend on the LORD our God. 8They will fall down, but we will stand firm.“
Ephesians 6:13-14, “13For this reason, take up the full armor of God so that you may be able to stand your ground on the evil day, and having done everything, to stand. 14Stand firm therefore, by fastening the belt of truth around your waist, by putting on the breastplate of righteousness,” Psalms 91:10, “No harm will overtake you; no illness will come near your home.”
- Thanksgiving opens closed door.
- Thanksgiving takes you out of lack, insufficiency, dry season of life.
- Thanksgiving gives you victory over the enemies.
- Thanksgiving gives you victory over death.
- Thanksgiving is an instrument of triumph over prison doors.
- Thanksgiving brings you out of misfortune in life.
Every benefit of thanksgiving shall manifest in your life in Jesus’ name. For the rest days of this year and beyond, you will not fall in the name of Jesus Christ.
