FREEDOM FROM TOXIC RELATIONSHIPS
Ministering: Bishop Mike Bamidele
Relationship can build you up or it can pull you down. It can make you or mar you.
Relationships today are social media initiated and driven. We need to be very conscious that relationships can affect you positively or negatively. Some relationships can finish you and some relationship can make you fruitful. So relationships can multiply you. You will enter relationships that will build you, add to you and you will multiply in Jesus’ name.
There is a mentor-mentee relationship: Sometimes mentor goes far beyond your leader, teacher, coach etc. But it is someone who is ensuring that you become better than what you are today. She or he is interested in moving you to the next level. A mentor believes that there is more in you than whom you think you are. They get platforms for you to demonstrate the skills you have.
One way to maintain relationship is to say “thank you”
1 Corinthians 15:33 “Be not deceived; evil communication corrupt good manners”
No matter how pure you are, if you have bad friends your mind and manners will be corrupted but good friends correct bad manners.
Prayers:
- Father, purify my relationship in the spiritual and in the physical by the blood of Jesus.
- Oh Lord, guide me into relationship that will add to me and will multiply me in Jesus’ name.
- Oh Lord, disconnect me from every relationship that will pull me down or subtract from my life in the name of Jesus.
- Oh Lord, lead me to academic relationship that will make me the lead in the name of Jesus.
- Oh Lord, connect me to relationships that will make me professional in the name of Jesus.
- No devil will manipulate my marital life in the name of Jesus.
- Oh Lord, connect me to high places in life; position me for financial assistance; rank me among the highest income earners in the world in the name of Jesus.
- Oh Lord, no relationship will turn me into a beggar in Jesus’ name.
- Oh Lord, deliver me from every demonic power responsible for my stagnation in life in Jesus’ name.
- Oh Lord, from 2020-2029, make me a thousand times better in the name of Jesus.
