IDEAS THAT GUARANTEED GREATNESS

The world is ruled by ideas. God is an idea God. He gives ideas to men. You cannot do anything without having the idea first. It must come into your mind first, before you can act on it. Everything flies on the wings of ideas. Ideas are importance to humanity: in science, medicine, education, fashion, in every field of human endeavour, big or small, professional or customary. We move forward on the basis of ideas. Somebody had an idea that is why we have light. Somebody has an idea that is why we have poundo yam etc. You will not lack ideas in Jesus’ name.

 

One of the things that give birth to ideas is question. Questions give you an idea on what to do per time. The questions may be self-questions. It could be asking others questions. It could be asking questions from God. The questions you ask, give you answers and that answers become your own ideas.

The ideas that guaranteed greatness are the ideas that come from God. Any idea God puts in your heart and you act upon, that idea cannot fail. If the ideas are from men, you may have hitches on the way. But if God says go, absolute nothing can stop you. God’s ideas cannot fail and they cannot be thwarted by any force in creation. When God leads, you will become a leader in that field. Everyone here tonight, there is a place for you in front. Each one has the potential to come forth and shine in his path, without injuring any other. You shine your shine, I shine my shine.

Life is a personal responsibility; you have to define it by yourself. The next ideas God will give to you, nothing will be able to take if from you in Jesus’ name. The one He has given you already, nothing will take it from you in Jesus’ name.

THINGS YOU MUST DO TO GET THE IDEAS?

1. You must have the idea itself. That is to have a vision.
2. You can have idea to add to what you have been doing before.
3. You can have idea to subtract from what you have been doing before.

Idea needs guidance and counsel. The idea that comes to us from God is the ministry of Holy Spirit. It is a Spirit of counsel Isaiah 11:1-3, “1And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots: 2And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD; 3And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears:”

The Spirit of counsel is the one that brings the visions or guidance. It brings the instructions. Its residence inside you and it also come upon you. It is where you draw ideas from. The Spirit will constantly give you instructions and if you act on those instructions, you cannot fail. Isaiah 30:21, “And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This [is] the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.” John 16:13, “Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, [that] shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.” We are so lazy in asking and listening and that is why we are bereft of ideas. John 10:3, “To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out.” 2 Samuel 5:17-19, “(5:17-19)  17But when the Philistines heard that they had anointed David king over Israel, all the Philistines came up to seek David; and David heard [of it], and went down to the hold. 18The Philistines also came and spread themselves in the valley of Rephaim. 19And David enquired of the LORD, saying, Shall I go up to the Philistines? wilt thou deliver them into mine hand? And the LORD said unto David, Go up: for I will doubtless deliver the Philistines into thine hand.” Psalms 3:3, “(3:3) But thou, O LORD, [art] a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head.” 2 Samuel 5:22, “And the Philistines came up yet again, and spread themselves in the valley of Rephaim.”

After David defeated Philistines, the Philistines came up against him again. Are you facing recurring challenges? You will win again in Jesus’ name. All you need to do is to ask again. Get another idea. This problem had come before; change the approach against the problem. Even, doctors sometimes change medication to confront a sickness. The next thing you are to do, God will reveal unto you in Jesus’ name. You must hear what God is saying and not what He has said. You must constantly hear the current voice of God. New wine must be in a new wineskin, or else you will waste the opportunity. If you just assumed that you will follow the old pattern, you will miss it. You are not your own. You are under instructions. You need new ideas to confront new challenges to make new progress. 2 Samuel 5:23-24, “23And when David enquired of the LORD, he said, Thou shalt not go up; [but] fetch a compass behind them, and come upon them over against the mulberry trees. 24And let it be, when thou hearest the sound of a going in the tops of the mulberry trees, that then thou shalt bestir thyself: for then shall the LORD go out before thee, to smite the host of the Philistines.”

Ideas from the spirit of counsel guarantee greatness, victories and successes.  

Prayer:

1. Father, speak to me by Your Spirit, plant divine ideas into my heart in the name of Jesus.
2. Father, speak to me concerning my life; show me the way to go in life in the name of Jesus.
3. Father, give clear answers on the issues of my life in the name of Jesus.
4. Father, give me divine instructions that will guarantee my greatness, victories and successes in the name of Jesus.
5. Whatever is blocking my spirit to hear from God, be removed in the name of Jesus.
