NEW WAVES OF EXPLOITS
2 Kings 6:1-7, “1And the sons of the prophets said unto Elisha, Behold now, the place where we dwell with thee is too strait for us. 2Let us go, we pray thee, unto Jordan, and take thence every man a beam, and let us make us a place there, where we may dwell. And he answered, Go ye.” Daniel 11:32b, “but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.”
An Exploit is a heroic deed of achievement, a bold or daring feet. It is breaking new ground in your family, career, business, ministry etc. Divine exploit is when God uses ordinary mortals to achieve extraordinary results. God has the capacity to do anything hence you can do or achieve more than your present circumstances such as speedy recovery of lost ground, break through without restrictions, upward movement in your ministry e. t. c.
Daniel 11:32b. The Jewish people have experienced some severe persecution especially under Antiochus Epiphanes, the Syrian King who reigned from 175 to 164 BC. He was so wicked that his subject nicknamed him “MAD MAN” He ordered the Jewish sacrifices to cease, polluted the temple of God by offering swine’s flesh on the altar, prohibited the observance of the Sabbath and the circumcision of children and destroyed copies of scripture.
The Maccabees was a group of courageous men led a heroic revolt against this phenomenal, they know their God, laid hold of his sovereign power and might, took action and broke Antiochus grip on Israel.
Christian of today are also expected to rise up against tyrannical rulers/regime, false doctrine and idolatry anywhere
VICTORY TIP
Be a WILLING VESSEL to be used by GOD in these last days to reveal this glory and power to a dying world. Never mind the threat of death, imprisonment, persecution e.t.c, have the courage and strength to do God’s will even though the whole world be against you and everybody around be giving into sin.
PRAYER
- 2 kings 6:1-2 Lord, make me a vessel through whom You can display your extra ordinary nature in the name of Jesus Christ.
- Oh Lord, empower me to break off from negative thinking that disqualify me from being used by You in the name of Jesus Christ.
