POWER TO SUBDUE DESTINY CONTENDERS

You are welcome to the month of May, the month of power. Whatever has been contending with you, you will finally see their back on the ground in Jesus’ name. God will do it for you in a big way in the name of Jesus. Genesis 1:21-23, “(1:21) And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that [it was] good. And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth. 23And the evening and the morning were the fifth day.” On the fifth month of the year, you will have your blessing in a whale size in the name of Jesus.

Isaiah 49:25, “But thus saith the LORD, Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered: for I will contend with him that contendeth with thee, and I will save thy children.”

There is contention in life: There are forces of contention. You want to get it and they want to get it, the contention is between you and the forces you cannot see. You are here to fulfill destiny, but there are forces contending with your fulfillment in life.

But God said He will contend with those who contend with you: You have a force joining you to contend with your contenders in life. Exodus 14:14, “(14:14) The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.”

Exodus 14:25, “(14:25) And took off their chariot wheels, that they drave them heavily: so that the Egyptians said, Let us flee from the face of Israel; for the LORD fighteth for them against the Egyptians.”

Whatever is contending against you, God will contend with them in Jesus’ name.

You require power to subdue the contenders of your destiny:

• Destiny contenders do not want you to achieve your goals in life.
• Destiny contenders do not want to you to attain the height God has ordained for you in life.
• They do not want you to possess what you need and you ought to have possessed Matthew 6:32, “(6:32) (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.” Obadiah 1:17, “(1:17) But upon mount Zion shall be deliverance, and there shall be holiness; and the house of Jacob shall possess their possessions.”
• Destiny contenders do not want you to become what you ought to be, especially in character, behaviour, attitude and our status in life Exodus 15:9, “(15:9) The enemy said, I will pursue, I will overtake, I will divide the spoil; my lust shall be satisfied upon them; I will draw my sword, my hand shall destroy them.”

Genesis 26:22, “(26:22) And he removed from thence, and digged another well; and for that they strove not: and he called the name of it Rehoboth; and he said, For now the LORD hath made room for us, and we shall be fruitful in the land.”

Ephesian 3:10, “(3:10) To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly [places] might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God,” 1 Corinthians 4:20, “(For the kingdom of God [is] not in word, but in power.” Psalms 89:20-23, “(89:20-23) 20 I have found David my servant; with my holy oil have I anointed him: 21 With whom my hand shall be established: mine arm also shall strengthen him. 22 The enemy shall not exact upon him; nor the son of wickedness afflict him. 23 And I will beat down his foes before his face, and plague them that hate him.”

Prayer:

1. Father, make me greater than my contenders in the name of Jesus.
2. Father, I possess all my possessions in life, I possess what is due for me in the name of Jesus.
3. I receive power to subdue destiny contenders in the name of Jesus.
4. Oh Lord, make my enemies give up over me in the name of Jesus.
5. Father, fill me with Yourself constantly, so that I can be filled with Your fullest in the name of Jesus.
6. Oh Lord, do not allow enemies to exact upon me, do not allow the son of wickedness to afflict me in the name of Jesus.
7. Father, anoint me with Your oil and Spirit in the name of Jesus.
8. Father, expose and subdue enemy that has been hiding to afflict me in Jesus’ name.
9. Father, break the yokes of stagnation in my life, let there be progress by the power of Holy Spirit in the name of Jesus.
