JOYFUL TO BE SUCCESSFUL
You cannot be truly successful until you are joyful. No success in your life without joy. Only joyful people can be successful. Some people think I will be joyful after I am successful. It is true that you may be happy but you may not be joyful because there is a thin line of difference between happiness and joyful. Galatian 5:22 says “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, and faith” You cannot access joy naturally unless you are in the Spirit. No natural person is truly joyful. Unless you have relationship with God, you cannot be joyful. You can be happy, you can be exited, but joy comes from God.
Happiness has to do with what happens around you. Joy is not about what happens around, but who you are connected to. If you are connected to God, the source of joy, it flows from within and manifests without. Joy is also a decision. You decide by yourself that you will be happy no matter the challenges you are passing through in life. Joy is also a commandment from God. Habakkuk 3:17-18 “Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither [shall] fruit [be] in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and [there shall be] no herd in the stalls. Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation.” Roman 14:17 “For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.” Joyfulness is what leads to success in life. Be happy and you shall be successful, be sad and you shall be a failure. No person who is sorrowful will have a happy life! Nobody will follow a leader who is sad! John 16:22 “And ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you.” You must protect your joy from being spoilt. When people complain and compare, they are trying to steal your joy from you! Devil cannot oppress you until he depresses you! But when there is joy in you, no devil can do so. John 16:33 “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” If you want to be successful in this world full of tribulations, always be cheerful. Joy begins with a thankful heart, gratitude to God.

Your service to God must be with joy. Deuteronomy 28:47-48 “Because thou servedst not the LORD thy God with joyfulness, and with gladness of heart, for the abundance of all [things]; Therefore shalt thou serve thine enemies which the LORD shall send against thee, in hunger, and in thirst, and in nakedness, and in want of all [things]: and he shall put a yoke of iron upon thy neck, until he have destroyed thee.”
Prayer:
- Oh Lord, I receive unending joy in my life in the name of Jesus.
- I will rejoice again and again in the name of Jesus.
- I connect with the joy unlimited in the name of Jesus.
- Whatever has been making me unhappy, the burden is lifted tonight in the name of Jesus.
