WISDOM FOR HEALTHY LIVING

Wisdom makes you healthy; lack of wisdom makes you sickly. Wisdom can bring you out of sickness; foolishness can keep you in sickness. May you operate in wisdom that will keep you healthy in the name of Jesus. Wisdom can make you live long; foolishness can cut short your life before your time. Proverb 3:16 “Length of days [is] in her right hand; [and] in her left hand riches and honour.” Verses 17 and 18, “Her ways [are] ways of pleasantness, and all her paths [are] peace. She [is] a tree of life to them that lay hold upon her: and happy [is every one] that retaineth her” Wisdom gives life, no death.

A wise person lives healthy because of the following things:

1. He knows the cause of the sickness and deals with it from the root. The source of every major sickness is Satan! Act 10:38, Luke 13:11, 16. If you want to live healthy, Bible wisdom is to resist the devil. You must take your stand in the words of God. You must reject the sickness as the woman with issue of blood and Bartimaeus the blind man did (Mark 5:25-29, 10:46-47). You must press on for the healing.
2. He is not ignorant of what to do to live a healthy life. Ignorance is also a channel through which sickness reaches people Hosea 4:6 “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.” Lack of basic rules of health can cause sickness. Such as dirtiness of the body, unclean environment etc. Ecclesiastes 7:17 “Be not over much wicked, neither be thou foolish: why should thou die before thy time?”

However, you can be cured if you know the source of the sickness? A wise man will look for curative steps to take. If you want to be cured you must use God’s words. Psalm 107:20 “He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered [them] from their destructions.” Proverb 4:20-22 “My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings…………” God’s word is a curative agent; you must believe the word before it can work for you. The strength of your faith will determine the level at which word will work for you. Faith is a way by which we access healing or curing. You must believe in His word before you can be healed Jeremiah 15:16. When you are coming before God for healing make you must sure that you are not depressed; come before His presence with joyful heart. Until you are depressed, you can be oppressed Proverb 17:22. As you come before His presence with joyful heart, you are healed from every form of infirmity in the name of Jesus.

Prayer:

1. I reject sickness in my body; I receive God’s vitality in the name of Jesus.
2. I reject pains, afflictions, and infirmities in my body in the name of Jesus.
