SUPERNATURAL EMPOWERMENT

Power will follow you home tonight. You will operate in the power of God. Things that do not move and ought to move, begin to move forward now in the name of Jesus Christ. The power of God will be working in your favour in the name of Jesus Christ.

Spiritual empowerment is the greatest form of empowerment. If somebody comes with money and he is distributing it. He is empowering you. If somebody starts distributing grinding machine, he is empowering you. If somebody comes with loans that are soft and you can pay back later, he is empowering you. If anyone educates or imparts knowledge in you, he is empowering you. But the greatest form of empowerment in life is the spiritual empowerment. Unlearned fisherman like Peter was empowered by Jesus Christ. They began to do, what those who have gone to schools, those who are professionals can not attempt to do it. Tonight, you will be empowered.

Acts 4:13, “Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.” Their association with Jesus Christ empowered them. Your association with Jesus Christ will empower you in the name of Jesus Christ.

YOU NEED POWER IN LIFE FOR THE FOLLOWING REASONS:

1. To be able to do: Power gives you strength and energy to carry on your assignment on earth. If you do not have power in you, nothing works. When you are powerless, nothing works. If nothing is working, it shows absence of power. Tonight will be empowered in Jesus’ name.
2. You need power to do exploit: If you want to get something extraordinary, you need power Daniel 11:32, “And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.”
3. You need power to fulfill life’s purpose: Jeremiah 1:5, “Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.” Without power, your divine purpose may be aborted; your destiny may be cut short. Luke 24:49, “And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.” If you are not empowered, you will perish without fulfilling God’s purpose in your life. You will just pass through the world without a mark. Every plan of Satan against you will fail in the name of Jesus Christ.
4. Kingdom strives by power. You cannot bring down the kingdom of God to the earth without power. Matthew 6:10. The kingdom of God is a kingdom with no pain, sorrow, struggle, affliction, trouble and all manner of evil you can think about. The kingdom of God is a kingdom of light, peace, joy, comfort and all round victories. The kingdom of God is about dispelling evil, darkness, hunger, poverty, war. It takes the power of God to change human situation.
5. To rout the devil: We need the power of God to prevail, cast out, dismiss or thread upon the serpent, scorpion and all manner of evil contending with the mankind. Luke 9:1,“Then he called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases.” Luke 10:19, “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” The most deadly opposition against you shall bow for you in the name of Jesus Christ. Luke 10:1, “After these things the Lord appointed other seventy also, and sent them two and two before his face into every city and place, whither he himself would come.” Luke 10:17, “And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name.” All the devils are subject to you in the name of Jesus Christ. God expects us to manifest in everywhere we go in life. He wants you to be in charge always.
6. To possess our possessions: Deuteronomy 2:24, “Rise ye up, take your journey, and pass over the river Arnon: behold, I have given into thine hand Sihon the Amorite, king of Heshbon, and his land: begin to possess it, and contend with him in battle.” Before you can possess your lots in life, you need power Obadiah 1:17, “(1:17) But upon mount Zion shall be deliverance, and there shall be holiness; and the house of Jacob shall possess their possessions.”
7. You need power to maintain your possessions
8. You need power to enlarge what you have. If they cannot stop you from possessing your possession, if they cannot stop you from maintaining that possession, they will definitely want to stop you from enlarging.

HOW CAN YOU RECEIVE THE POWER?

1. You can receive the power from Jesus Christ. You get the power in His presence. You must engage in daily fellowship with your God.
2. You can also receive it from the connector, those who God sent to us as His prophets. Acts 8:17, “Then laid they their hands on them, and they received the Holy Ghost.”

Anyone who wants to work in empowerment must be conscious of everything around him. He must be observant; he must work in the spirit always. That is essence of being empowered.

Prayer:

1. Oh Lord, I release power to move what should move in my life and destiny in the name of Jesus Christ.
2. Oh Lord, let Your power begin to manifest in every aspect of my life in the name of Jesus Christ.
