THE ANOINTING FOR LEADERSHIP

WORDS OF PROPHECIES

The Lord will give you a word of direction. Issues that have become concern to you shall be turned to testimonies. There is someone, that position you have been denied of, you are stepping up to occupy it in the name of Jesus Christ. The supernatural power of God is lifting you up now. His right hand is taking you to your rightful position in life and destiny in the name of Jesus Christ.

Real men lead. Where you suppose to be leading, but you are at the back, God’s anointing will take you to the front in the name of Jesus Christ. Whatever difficulty you have been facing in the leadership position, God will solve it for you in the name of Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 13:11, “When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.” 1 Corinthians 14:20, “Brethren, be not children in understanding: howbeit in malice be ye children, but in understanding be men.” It takes understanding to standout in life. Every man must be a man of understanding. Galatians 4:1, “Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all;”

You must grow up, you must mature. Your babe attributes will not deliver your inheritances to you in Christ. You will be denied of so many things in life, if you do not grow up. 1 Corinthians 16:13, “Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong.” Joshua 1:7-9, “7Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper whithersoever thou goest. 8This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. 9Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.”

Men are called to be strong because they are called to lead. Leadership takes strength. Leadership needs spiritual, physical, mental and emotional capacity. Every human being is called to lead. Genesis 1:28, “And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.”

Man is not to be subdued by fellow men. We are created to subdue the earth. That is why no oppression of men can last forever. The nature of man rejects men oppressing other men.

Your special miracle is attached to your be in charge. Deuteronomy 28:13, “And the LORD shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if that thou hearken unto the commandments of the LORD thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do them:”

THE IMPORTANCE OF ANOINTING ON LEADERS:

1. The anointing helps you to lead successfully.
2. The anointing empowers you to lead.
3. The anointing inspires you to lead.
4. The anointing envisions you to lead successfully and positively.

Isaiah 3:4-5, “4And I will give children to be their princes, and babes shall rule over them. 5And the people shall be oppressed, everyone by another, and every one by his neighbour: the child shall behave himself proudly against the ancient, and the base against the honourable.”

Man is not by age, and sex he carries, but the man who takes the lead.

A REAL LEADER HAS THE FOLLOWING CHARACTERISTICS:

1. They have a clear vision Matthew 15:14, “Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.” A leader must see clearly where he is going. He must see ahead.
2. They set goals. The goals must be specific, measurable, achievable, realistic, and must be time bound.
3. A leader is to proffer solutions to issues of life.

Prayer:

1. I am stepping up to occupy my place in destiny in the name of Jesus Christ.
2. Father, I reject any power holding me down in the name of Jesus Christ.
3. Father, I reject the spirit of stagnation in the name of Jesus Christ.
4. I reject the spirit of tail. I shall be the head and not the tail in the name of Jesus Christ.
5. Every spirit of weakness, depart from my life in the name of Jesus Christ.
6. Oh Lord, open my eyes to see ahead, make me a real leader in the name of Jesus Christ.
7. Anointing of the Holy Spirit, make me a successful leader, make me an effective leader in the name of Jesus Christ.
8. Anointing of the Holy Spirit, empower me to lead, envision me to lead in the name of Jesus Christ.
