THE CHALLENGES AND THE OPPORTUNITIES OF COVID 19

TOPIC: SHINING DESPITE COVID-19

Text: John 1: 5, Isaiah 60: 2, Exodus 10: 22-23, John 10: 10

There must be a difference between those who know God and those who do not know God. If your connection with Christ does not bring a change to your life something is wrong with you! There should be a difference between light and darkness. John 1:5, “And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.”

There are two aspects of Jesus Christ: HIS LIFE AND HIS PRINCIPLES. There should be an exemption about you. It takes darkness for light to be better recognized and appreciated. The economic darkness, covid-19 darkness is for us to be better seen and appreciated. Exodus 10:22, “And Moses stretched forth his hand toward heaven; and there was a thick darkness in all the land of Egypt three days: They saw not one another, neither rose any from his place for three days: but all the children of Israel had light in their dwellings.”

Therefore take full advantage of this season. Covid-19 has taught us to wait on God for directions and inspirations. Challenges are opportunities to do things better in life. Covid-19 should not shut you down, it should lift you up.! Covid-19 has led people into dealing with the essentials. Do not look at the challenges that Covid-19 has brought but look at the opportunities. Whatever you struggle to do that brings glory and results, do it more.

You need a key that is different from other keys if you want to open doors meant for you during this season. Focus on the essentials; some people need to change their strategies and packaging. Some people need to change their business locations. Go for trainings; put your ministries online; put your business online. Many have become millionaires via internet. Not through scams, but through legitimate businesses. You must seek for knowledge daily; you must improve on your services. 2Timothy 2:15, “Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”

3 LESSONS THAT COVID-19 TAUGHT US OR OUGHT TO TEACH US!

Always have extra. Extra resources, extra income, extra means of livelihood Matthew 25: 2-3, “And five of them were wise, and five [were] Matt 25:3 They that [were] foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:”
Do not be an only one source person: You will never survive in this season!
Be your own boss. Work towards only your own life. The best security for you is to have your own financial life (especially ladies).

OPPORTUNITIES THAT COVID-19 BROUGHT!

Opportunity to think differently and do things differently. Joshua 1: 8, “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.”
Opportunity for innovations, creativities, new discoveries.

Word for pastors

Take your anointing and ministrations beyond the four corners of your church.

PROPHECIES:

God shall bless you yet the more in Jesus’ name.
Abundant life upon you in Jesus name.
God will deliver this country in Jesus’ name.
A way is coming for you in Jesus name.
May God open your eyes in Jesus’ name.
Despite the darkness of this hour you will shine in the name of Jesus.
God will give you a key in Jesus’ name.
You will shine. In your production of goods and services, career in life, your ministry, wherever you are in life you will shine in the name of Jesus.
Grace to turn people’s heart to God receive it in Jesus name.
You will no more be crying in Jesus’ name.
The idea that will make you relevant and distinguish you, receive now in Jesus’ name.
Patience to stay with it until you begin to shine receive it in Jesus name.
Your work will thrive, your voice will be heard, and you will pass it on to your generation.

Prayers:

God give me my own key; strengthen my key for anointing, to manifest me to the whole world, to solve human problems In Jesus’ name.
Oh Lord my God, the world may be shutting down, lift me up for the world to see.
