TOPIC: THE FOUNDATION FOR SHINING BRIGHTER

Text: Matthew 1:21

If the foundation of your shining is correct, you will shine correctly. The foundation determines the super structure that you will put on it. No storm will be able to move you if you are on the right foundation. Salvation is the foundation for anyone who wants to shine in his or her lifetime. You have to be saved from darkness to shine in this world. The person who is saved is a person rescued from sin, from the effects of sin and from eternal damnation.  Salvation is only available in Christ. If you want to be saved you have to come to Christ Matthew 1:21, “And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.” Jesus has come to save you, to give you a foundation for shining brighter. The person who is saved is the person from the kingdom of darkness to the kingdom of God Colossians 1:13-14, “Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated [us] into the kingdom of his dear Son: In whom we have redemption through his blood, [even] the forgiveness of sins:” Salvation means you have been washed in the blood of the lamb

Are you washed in the blood of the lamb?

The blood of the lamb can save anybody Isaiah 51:1, “Hearken to me, ye that follow after righteousness, ye that seek the LORD: look unto the rock [whence] ye are hewn, and to the hole of the pit [whence] ye are digged.” Isaiah 1:18, “Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.” There is no sin that the blood of Jesus Christ cannot cleanse you from! The person who is saved is the one that believes in his heart and confess with his mouth that Jesus is Lord Romans 10:10, “For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”

Today, salvation enters your heart in the name of Jesus. Jesus wants you save! He is the lover of your life. Salvation is a life changing experience! The proof of salvation is when your life changes and you begin to shine by character and behavior. There is what is called the fruit of salvation Galatian 5:22, “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,” Lord changes my life and gives me a solid foundation for shining brighter in the name of Jesus. You are not saved when you are careless with your salvation! Guard your Salvation jealously.

Salvation is different from assumption!

3 LEVELS OF SALVATION

• Saved from sin.
• Being saved daily.
• Getting into heaven.

You need light to shine and the first place light must shine is in your heart. If you are not saved and you want to be saved, save after me, I believe in Jesus. He is my lord and my saviour. I promise to follow him without looking back.

Nothing will steal my foundation from me. Now that I have that foundation, give me the grace to build on it in Jesus’ name.
