The Internet is a vast network that connects computers all over the world. Through the Internet, people can share information and communication from anywhere with an internet connection. We live in New age where the internet offers a wealth of resources, ideas and educational opportunities for both adults and children.

Internet has changed the way we live, work and communicate, in ways that were once unimaginable. With just a click of a button, we can access an endless amount of information, connect with people from all over the world, and connect business from the comfort of our own home. However, as with any technological advancement, the internet also has its downsides. The use of the internet has to be monitored among the children and youth.

The internet has brought about many benefits to our daily lives. One of the most significant is the way it has changed the way we communicate on Social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. It helps people to stay connected with their friends and family regardless of where they are located. Helps that can be accessed on internet were numerous but under this lesson few will be mentioned as follows:

1. Internet provides church members with a safe space to connect with other believers. It is a great way to encourage social interaction, build friendships within your church and connect with the outside world
2. Internet Helps Church Growth: It provides people with a place where they can connect and share ideas. Church can use to promote their services and events. It also provide a space for people to ask questions and receive answers which help them learn new things and find solutions to their problems.
3.  Via internet, vibrant Youth Ministry can be created. It is no secret that young people connect more online than in the physical space. If you want to interact, you must consider online community platforms.
4. You can increase your church visibility through internet. If you want your members and the world to access excellent and helpful information, you have to create it. Through internet more people will come to know about you, which will help increase your reach to accelerate your church growth
5. Increase your church membership. The church can only remain vital and relevant if we, as church leaders one willing to continually seek to grow our online and virtual presence.

BENEFITS OF INTERNET TO THE CHURCH

1. The internet is helping people to adopt view ways of understanding themselves and the world they are living in.
2. The internet gives unparalleled possibilities to proclaim the saving message of Jesus Christ to the humanity. It is capable of spreading religious information and teaching all over the world
3. The more the church understands the internet, the more it can be a sign of salvation to a world that is desperately seeking an assuming hope.
4. The internet has the ability of overcoming distance and isolation and in so doing, different individuals from every corner of the globle who cherish the same yearning for God and the experience of being a virtual community of faith online

CONCLUSION

A mature Christian use of the internet is always based on solid moral standards, which in themselves save guard the a dignity of it’s users. Also self-control ensures a responsibilities and wise use of the internet.

The younger generation is to be encouraged and supported to use the internet responsibly and creatively to access the opportunity therein.

1. Oh Lord, let our online programs draw more souls to the kingdom in Jesus’ name.
2. O Lord, give our youth understanding not to be using internet for their own destruction in Jesus’ name.
3. Grant us grace as individual and church to access great opportunities through internet in Jesus’ name.
