Beloved, every child of God is born to be a wonder. A wonder is someone whose life makes others marvel at the power, grace, and glory of God. Your life is not ordinary; you are created to be a testimony that will cause men to say, “This can only be God.”

The Bible says in Isaiah 8:18: “Behold, I and the children whom the LORD hath given me are for signs and for wonders in Israel from the LORD of hosts, which dwelleth in mount Zion.” God created you with unprocessed potentials, and His desire is for you to manifest them so you can shine as a wonder to your generation and to generations yet unborn.

Daniel as a Wonder

One striking example is Daniel. The Bible records in Daniel 1:20: “And in all matters of wisdom and understanding, that the king enquired of them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and astrologers that were in all his realm.”

Daniel and his companions were captives, yet they manifested as wonders because of the wisdom and spirit of excellence God placed upon them. The king had no choice but to acknowledge that there was something different about them.

Also, Daniel 5:14 says: “I have even heard of thee, that the spirit of the gods is in thee, and that light and understanding and excellent wisdom is found in thee.” This was the testimony of Daniel’s life — light, wisdom, and excellence that could not be denied.

If Daniel could shine as a wonder in a strange land, then you too can manifest as a wonder wherever you find yourself, no matter the situation or environment.

The Task of Manifestation

To manifest as a wonder, you must first recognize who you are in Christ. You are not ordinary. The Spirit of God within you makes you different. Romans 8:19 says: “For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.”

Creation is waiting for your manifestation. Nations are waiting for your manifestation. Your family, community, and generation are waiting to see what God has deposited in you.

But manifestation requires responsibility. You must carry the presence of God and refuse to compromise. A wonder is someone who is set apart for God’s glory.

The Secret Place

The place of intimacy with God is key to living as a wonder. Psalm 91:1 declares: “He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.”

The secret place is where your strength, wisdom, and grace are renewed. Daniel prayed three times a day despite opposition, and it was his connection with God that made him a wonder in Babylon.

Your private walk with God will always determine your public manifestation. Without the secret place, there can be no lasting manifestation of glory.

The Company You Keep

To manifest as a wonder, you must also be mindful of the company you keep. Daniel had Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego — men of like faith who encouraged him to stand firm in God.

Proverbs 13:20 says: “He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed.”

Your company can either fuel your manifestation or quench it. Surround yourself with people who push you closer to God, not those who drag you away from Him.

The Cost of Compromise

A wonder does not bow to the pressures of compromise. The three Hebrew boys refused to bow to the golden image, and God honored them with His presence in the fiery furnace.

Daniel 3:25 records: “He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.”

Manifesting as a wonder often requires courage to stand for God even when it is not popular.

Prayers for Manifestation

  1. Oh Lord, I thank You for choosing me to be a wonder to my generation.
    (Isaiah 8:18)
  2. Oh Lord, clothe me with Your glory and beauty, and let me radiate Your excellence all the days of my life. Isaiah 60:1 – “Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee.”
  3. Oh Lord, grant me protocol-breaking helpers who will make way for my manifestation. Genesis 41:14 – “Then Pharaoh sent and called Joseph, and they brought him hastily out of the dungeon.”
  4. I reject every filthy garment that will hinder my manifestation, in the name of Jesus Christ. Zechariah 3:3–4 – “Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and stood before the angel. And he answered and spake unto those that stood before him, saying, Take away the filthy garments from him.”

Beloved, you are born to be a wonder. Your life is designed to display the greatness of God. Do not settle for less than what God has ordained for you. Refuse compromise, stay in the secret place, choose your company wisely, and walk in the identity God has given you.

Go forth and manifest as the wonder that you are, in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
