SIX (6) LESSONS I HAVE LEARNT IN SIXTY (60) YEARS.

Hebrew 6:12, “That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises”. Romans 15:4, “For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.”

As growing up youths, you must learn from older ones who have gone ahead of you. Let every aspect of their lives gives you revelation about life. Learn from their faith. When you are hopeful, you will become joyful in life. In Christ, there is assurance of hope for you in life. There is hope for your academic life, hope for your spiritual life, hope for your martial life, and hope for your financial life. If you see a star, please do ask for his scars, because there is NO STAR without a SCAR. It takes scars to makes stars. If you are afraid of scars then you cannot become a star in life. It takes a persuaded leader to say “follow me”; it means he does not have anything to hide that can mislead his followers.

MY SIX LESSONS IN SIXTY YEARS:

LESSON ONE (1):

I have learnt that God has a plan for my life, and He has a plan for every life. And this plan of God is revealed in phases if you follow Him. Jer.29:11, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”

LESSON TWO (2):

I have learnt that God loves me personally and He is interested in me. And He loves everyone the same way.

LESSON THREE (3):

I have learnt about the power in the cross. It saves people, washes sins away, and delivers the saved ones from destruction. It is the most powerful weapon to get anything in life. Cross is where the price for our sin is paid, so we can be freed from guilty and condemnations. Sin is the cause of all human problems and the Cross is the solution. To deny the Cross is to live a life of struggling.

LESSON FOUR (4):

I have learnt that there is a personal power in being filled with the Holy Ghost. When you are filled with the Holy Spirit, you will be empowered. Acts.1:8, “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.” Holy Ghost renews our strength, mind and memory.

LESSON FIVE (5):

I have learnt that hard work, diligence, consistency, thirst for excellence pays. If you have an assignment, do not handle it with levity. Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your minds, the rewards will definitely come.

LESSON SIX (6):

I have learnt that your character matters a whole lot in getting to the top and staying on top. Certain characters that are very good to develop.

• Humility
• Honesty
• Holiness

In some places you might want to be cheated because you are humble, you stand your ground and do not let them take your humility for stupidity. You can take your stand without being rude, abusive and insulting.

PRAYER POINT

1. Oh Lord, let these lessons be useful in my Life in Jesus’ name.
