You should take charge of your connections, because your connections determine your allocation, promotion, your final destination in life. Your connections are very important. You should not leave it to chance; you should take charge of your connections. If you do not take charge of your connections, you will not be disconnected from the connections that would have taken you to your place in destiny. You will score your connection goal in the name of Jesus Christ. Your association affects your entire life. Proverbs 16:20, “He that handleth a matter wisely shall find good: and whoso trusteth in the LORD, happy is he.” 2 Chronicles 20:35-37, “35And after this did Jehoshaphat king of Judah join himself with Ahaziah king of Israel, who did very wickedly: 36And he joined himself with him to make ships to go to Tarshish: and they made the ships in Eziongeber. 37Then Eliezer the son of Dodavah of Mareshah prophesied against Jehoshaphat, saying, Because thou hast joined thyself with Ahaziah, the LORD hath broken thy works. And the ships were broken, that they were not able to go to Tarshish.” If you leave the question of association to chance, you will miss all. Psalms 1:1-2, “1Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. 2But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.”

2 Corinthians 6:14-17, “14Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? 15And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? 16And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 17Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,”

1 Corinthians 6:16-17, “16What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh. 17But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.

1 Samuel 18:1-4, “1And it came to pass, when he had made an end of speaking unto Saul, that the soul of Jonathan was knit with the soul of David, and Jonathan loved him as his own soul. 2And Saul took him that day, and would let him go no more home to his father’s house. 3Then Jonathan and David made a covenant, because he loved him as his own soul. 4And Jonathan stripped himself of the robe that was upon him, and gave it to David, and his garments, even to his sword, and to his bow, and to his girdle.”

Romans 8:35-39, “35Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. 37Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. 38For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Take charge of your relationship now. Relationship is by choice.

  1. Do not be forced into any relationship.
  2. Do not be intimidated into any relationship.
  3. Do not be harassed into any relationship.
  4. Do not be manipulated into any relationship.
  5. Do not be deceived into any relationship.

WHAT YOU MUST WATCHOUT FOR FROM THE BEGINNING OF YOUR RELATIONSHIP

  1. Be watchful of the beginning of any relationship. One of the ways to take charge of your relationship from the beginning is to commit it to God’s hand. Be conscious of your physical appearance, your attitude, your character, and your utterances.
  2. Be mindful of what happen or manifest as you enter into that relationship.
  3. Take charge on how to remain in a relationship.
  4. Take charge on how to improve in a relationship.
  5. Take charge on how you to exit from relationship. Not every relationship is forever. Some are for a season. Some are for a purpose. When the season expires, exit from it. Do not exit any relationship in order to undermine the other party, to show superiority, to aggrieve the other party.
  6. Take charge on how you review relationship. Be sincere the way you make comment on relationships. There are some things you keep to yourself. Only a fool will say everything.

Prayer:

  1. Father I thank You for all the relationships You have helped to have in life.
  2. Oh Lord, purify all my relationships. Deliver me from intimidating relationship. I rejected manipulating relationship, harassing relationship, deceptive relationship.
  3. I receive grace to discern the motive behind any relationship I want to enter into in the name of Jesus Christ.
  4. I take charge of all my relationship by the help of almighty God in the name of Jesus Christ.
  5. I enter into a new relationship by divine guidance of Holy Spirit in the name of Jesus Christ.
