DEALING WITH ENEMIES WITHIN (HOLY SPIRIT AND YOU – FEBRUARY 2026 EDITION)

This is the second month of the year. Expect double; expect rapid progress, and you will not be left behind in the name of Jesus Christ. Whatever is going on around you will not unsettle you in the name of Jesus Christ.

There are enemies within and enemies without. But we are often more conscious of the enemies without, not minding the enemies within. Truly, enemies are real. Even God has enemies. As righteous as God is, He has enemies. The Bible says: “Let God arise, Let His enemies be scattered; Let those also who hate Him flee before Him.” Psalms 68:1

As loving as God is, He does not want anyone to perish. He wants everyone to be saved. Yet He still has enemies. Enemies are real to God; if they are real to God, they are also real to you.

We have secret enemies. They are very difficult to deal with. There are enemies you did not offend, or you have offended but they refuse to forgive you. But God will deal with every enemy of your destiny in the name of Jesus Christ. There are open enemies who will say it to your face. You also have friends who are enemies, but they pretend to be your friends. You will not become a victim of secret enemies in the name of Jesus Christ.

Likewise, we have friends—both open and secret friends. They can go the extra mile to make sure that it is well with you. Never attack people generally, because you may be attacking your friends unknowingly.

There is an enemy that is living inside you. Your body is your house. In your body, as a house, there is an enemy living inside of you. Micah 7:6, “For son dishonors father, Daughter rises against her mother, Daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law; A man’s enemies are the men of his own household.”

The bad character within you can block your lifting or breakthrough in your lifetime. Some people are toxic, carrying negative vibes. These can block your way.

The flesh is another enemy within. Most times, we satisfy the cravings of the flesh at the expense of the manifestation of the Spirit. Galatians 5:17, “For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish.”

Your flesh must be crucified for you to live in the Spirit. If you have a covetous spirit, you will be easily deceived by men or anyone who wants to ensnare you. These enemies within can deny you from making heaven. Moses was denied because of anger. Though you are a new creation, the old man still wants to manifest in you. You must resist that old man so he does not subdue you. 1 Corinthians 9:25-27, “And everyone who competes for the prize is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a perishable crown, but we for an imperishable crown. Therefore I run thus: not with uncertainty. Thus I fight: not as one who beats the air. But I discipline my body and bring it into subjection, lest, when I have preached to others, I myself should become disqualified.” Matthew 15:19, “For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies.”

Whatever the enemy within is still troubling, the Holy Spirit will subdue it. The Holy Spirit consumes enemies within. He transforms us through communion with God. Romans 12:1-2, “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.”

The Holy Spirit renews our inner mind and empowers our inner man to be stronger than what we have inherited. The Holy Spirit destroys the demonic pattern that has been running in your lineage. All the problems within your lineage will be subdued in the name of Jesus Christ. Negative patterns running in your lineage shall be destroyed in the name of Jesus Christ. Whatever has been going negatively shall be changed. Ancestral curses that have been part and parcel of your lineage are consumed by Holy Ghost fire in the name of Jesus Christ. You will not see poverty in the name of Jesus Christ. You are out of poverty in the name of Jesus Christ. God will use you to pull out every member of your family from poverty in the name of Jesus Christ.

Prayer

1. Holy Ghost, help me; deal with enemies within me now in the name of Jesus Christ.
2. Holy Ghost, deal with bad character and every inherited demonic pattern now in the name of Jesus Christ.
3. Holy Ghost, consume the enemies within me; consume curses in my family; consume the sicknesses in my family; consume the circumstances of failure in my family; consume the root of poverty in my family now in the name of Jesus Christ.
4. Holy Ghost, consume the enemies of progress within me now in the name of Jesus Christ.
5. Whatever wants to stop my dreams within me, be consumed by fire in the name of Jesus Christ.
6. Holy Spirit, baptize me into the body of Christ.
