As you have been committed to the work of the kingdom, God will be committed to your life and your destiny in the name of Jesus. Your family shall receive divine help from the Lord in the name of Jesus. You shall never go down in life in the name of Jesus. You will find help from above in the name of Jesus Christ. The labours of your hands shall not be in vain in the name of Jesus. You shall be fruitful in the name of Jesus. You will be going from grace to grace, from strength to strength and from victory to victory in the name of Jesus. You are who you are in Christ Jesus. You are who God says you are. You are taking territories by force. The devil cannot stop you. Your family’s foundation cannot stop you in the name of Jesus Christ. Matthew 11:12, “And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force.”

As Christians, we are meant to be relevant and have divine knowledge of the word of God. As Christians, we are meant to be knowledgeable of the word of God. Every living thing and every living creature must stick to his source. If he does not stick to his source, he will die with time. As Christians, our source is the word of God. You must consistently stay on the word of God. You must study it. You must really understand it personally for yourself. Colossians 2:6, “As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him:” As a spirit being, you must remain connected to your source. Acts 20:32, “And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.” Those who can receive the inheritance of the grace of God are someone who are in Christ, who take charge of their spiritual life.

SEVEN PREREQUISITES TO TAKE CHARGE OF YOUR SPIRITUAL LIFE:

There are certain things you must get ready for spiritually. They are conditions. They are not strategies, they must be your lifestyle. No matter what you face in life, no matter what comes your way, you will be victorious when you know these seven things. You will not just know it, you must live it, you live a life that is spiritually grounded. It doesn’t matter how your material life is, you may be financially buoyant, your emotional life may be stable, every other aspect of your life may be stable, but once your spiritual life is not stable, you are not rooted in the word of God, you don’t understand the word of God personally for yourself, you don’t know what God says about you, whatever situation you face in life, you will easily come down, your faith will be easily drawn down. Battles of life will shake you off.

You must take your spiritual life by force.

  1. You must receive Christ Colossians 2:6, “As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him:” Philippians 1:28, “And in nothing terrified by your adversaries: which is to them an evident token of perdition, but to you of salvation, and that of God.” You can only work in Him if you have personal relationship with Him. Your heart must be opened to Him. You must have a heart that is willing and ready to receive Christ. You must live a holy life. Proverbs 28:18, “Whoso walketh uprightly shall be saved: but he that is perverse in his ways shall fall at once.”
  2. You must be filled with the knowledge of His will. You must know all His will for your life and all are contained in His words. You must know it, understand and confess it. Ephesians 1:15-17, “15Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints, 16Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers; 17That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:” Joshua 1:8, “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.”
  3. You must live a life of love. You must show love to others. Never talk people down. Extend your love, your hand of love to others. Philippians 1:9-10, “9And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment; 10That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ;” Galatians 5:22-24, “22But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. 24And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.” Show love to people. Make sure everyone around you, remain in Christ. Draw people to Christ with your words. Let your words bring good words and good transformation to people.
  4. Maintain a healthy prayer life. You must be someone that prays. Luke 18:1, “And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;” Pray and pray until something happens. Pray and keep praying until you see desired change in your spiritual life. James 5:16, “Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.” Colossians 4:2, “Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving;” Romans 8:26, “Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
  5. Your spiritual life must bear fruits. God expects you to be fruitful in all things, especially in your spiritual life. Colossian 1:10, “That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;” Matthew 7:19, “Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. John 15:2, “Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.”
  6. You must have a heart of thanksgiving. Develop a thankful heart. In all things, you must give thanks. Colossians 1:12, “Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:”
  7. Take charge. Take charge means recognizing that you have the power to shape your destiny. Make choices that align with your values. Pursue your goals with determination and purposes. Deuteronomy 8:3, “And he humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, which thou knewest not, neither did thy fathers know; that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the LORD doth man live.”

Invest your time in personal prayer life. Do not be too busy to pray. Your efforts can never be a substitute for prayer.

Prayer:

  1. Father, give me the grace to be fervent in prayer. I receive strength to be fervent in prayer.
  2. Father, always be my source throughout the days of life in the name of Jesus Christ’
  3. Oh Lord, strengthen my spiritual life. Let my spiritual life shows that I have deep knowledge in You.
  4. Oh Lord, help me to bear good fruits of the spirit. Let many people come to the knowledge of You through me in the name of Jesus Christ.
  5. I take territory for Christ. I have overturn every decree and declaration of the devil against me and my household in the name of Jesus Christ.
  6. Whatever has been written contrary to Your promises in my life and destiny, I cancel it by the Blood of Jesus Christ.
