EXPOSING THE LIES OF THE DEVIL (PART 3)

The King of kings, the Lord of lords has defeated death. The power of death, the greatest enemy of man has been finally destroyed. Even death has no power over man. Shout a big hallelujah. You have victory in Christ Jesus; even death cannot destroy you anymore because Jesus Christ has given us the victory, through His death and resurrection. Hebrew 2:14, “Since therefore the children share in flesh and blood, he himself likewise partook of the same things, that through death he might destroy the one who has the power of death, that is, the devil.”

Satan can be stopped in your life and you can only stop him through the word of truth. One of the lies of the devil is to make promises he cannot keep.

1. Satan promises liberty and put you in bondage. 2Peter 2:19, it reads, “They promise them freedom, but they themselves are slaves of corruption. For whatever overcomes a person, to that he is enslaved.” You can never trust devil for anything in life because he is the father of lies John 8:44. The devil is a liar and one of his lies is to make a promise to you and never fulfil it.
2. He promises riches but end up in poverty Proverb 20:17. Every time you listen to the lies of the devil, you are a loser. Just like Adam and Eve lost the Garden of Eden through his deception. You will not be a victim of his lies in the name of Jesus.
3. He promises good health, but takes it away and gives infirmity and all manner of sicknesses and diseases.
4. He promises a good partner in marriage, but gives troubled partner.
5. He promises joy, but gives sorrow. Psalms 16:4, “The sorrows of those who run after another god shall multiply; their drink offerings of blood I will not pour out or take their names on my lips.”

The devil is not a promise keeper. When he tells you that he is taking you to the top, you will end up down in a pit of life 2 Corinthians 11:14.

However, Jesus Christ promised us to meet Him in Galilee, after His death and resurrection Matthew 28:6-7. If Jesus Christ gives you appointment, He will surely honour it. He is not man that He will lie. Every God’s appointment for your life shall come to pass in the name of Jesus. Not only the appointment was fulfilled, power also changed hands. His resurrection was a triumph of light over darkness; from death to life, loser to become a winner.

Prayer:

1. In the name of Jesus, I defeat every opposition to my welfare.
2. Oh God, preserve what You have given to me, I will not lose it to devil in the name of Jesus. I will not lose my salvation, my home, my career, my business, my children, my future to devil in the name of Jesus.
3. Oh Lord, let Your angels roll away every stone blocking my rising in Jesus name.
4. Oh Lord, scatter every force of darkness meant to supervise my stagnation in the name of Jesus.
5. By the resurrection power of Jesus Christ, I am coming out of grave of life in the name of Jesus.
6. No more stagnation in life, I am moving forward in the name of Jesus.
7. I receive total restoration of every good thing I have lost in the name of Jesus.
