If you want to actually take charge in life, let Holy Ghost take charge of you. Until Holy Ghost is in charge of you, you will be ineffective in taking charge. Holy Spirit must take charge of you for you to take charge. When you are not under control of Holy Ghost, things you touch may be slipping out of your hands and you may not be able to grab it. Holy Ghost taking charge of you will empower you to charge of everything in life.

He will never force Himself on you. You must be willing to accept Him. You must ask of Him to take charge of your life. You must yield to Him, you must submit to Him. James 4:7, “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” That is when you can rule in the midst of your enemies according to Psalms 110:2, “The LORD shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies.” You cannot rebuke Satan until you submit yourself to God. In Him you will have the authority to rebuke the devil. Satan is rebuked in your life in the name of Jesus Christ.

The greatest thing you must desire is for Holy Ghost to take charge of you. Every believer daily prayer should be Holy Spirit, take charge of me. You must present everything about your life and household to Holy Ghost to take charge. Unless Holy Ghost is in charge, other things will be in charge. Confusion will be in charge, you will be at the mercy of Satan. Satan will not take advantage of you in the name of Jesus Christ. Anything you allow in your life will take charge of you. You must not wait until you have lost something before you start taking charge. You must be in charge. Do not live your life on guess work. Be intentional and deliberate about taking charge of your space. You are not boastful, proud, arrogant, and insubordinate. You are just taking charge of your space and ensuring that nobody pushes you over in your space. Do not ever allow anybody to take you for a ride. You should be meek, mild and humble, but that does not mean that you should be weak. Weakness is not synonymous to meekness. They are two separate words, performing different actions.

To be in charge is to have firm control or to determine the outcome.

  1. Holy Ghost is the executor of God’s agenda on earth. Holy Spirit is in full control of God’s activities on earth.
  2. Holy Spirit is the chief executive director for the believers’ actions on earth. Philippians 2:13, “For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.”
  3. Holy Ghost bring people to Christ. He draws people into Christ. I decree those who are outside Christ shall be brought into Jesus Christ by the Holy Ghost in the name of Jesus Christ.
  4. Holy Ghost establishes us in Christ.
  5. He guides our decisions in life Romans 8:14, “For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.” John 16:13, “Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.” Luke 4:1, “ And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost returned from Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness,” Luke 4:14-19, “14And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about. 15And he taught in their synagogues, being glorified of all. 16And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read. 17And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Esaias. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written, 18The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, 19To preach the acceptable year of the Lord. Acts 13:2, “As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Ghost said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them.”
  6. He determines where to go to preach, the invitation to accept, and every engagement of your life. Psalms 127:1, “A Song of degrees for Solomon. Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.” Hebrew 3:4, “For every house is builded by some man; but he that built all things is God.”

Prayer:

  1. Holy Spirit, breathes upon me, take charge of my life, fill me to fullness, fill with joy, joyful worship, unending worships in the name of Jesus Christ.
  2. Holy Ghost, take charge so that I can take charge.
  3. Oh Lord, I submit to the leading of the Holy Spirit, guide me through to the end in the name of Jesus Christ.
  4. Holy Spirit breathes upon me, empower me to be able to fulfill the purpose of my destiny in the name of Jesus Christ.
