PASSION FOR MIRACLE
Ministering: Pastor Yinka Ilupeju
Miracles are something every believer in Christ Jesus must enjoy. Miracles are our inheritance in Father, through Christ Jesus. Christians should have passion for miracles; they must have zeal to have miracles because they are part of the blessings from God to us. Tonight, you are here with a passion to have something from God. You will not go empty-handed in the name of Jesus Christ. Isaiah 44:2-3, “2Thus saith the LORD that made thee, and formed thee from the womb, which will help thee; Fear not, O Jacob, my servant; and thou, Jesurun, whom I have chosen. 3For I will pour water upon him that is thirsty, and floods upon the dry ground: I will pour my spirit upon thy seed, and my blessing upon thine offspring:”
Before you can have access to a miracle, you must desire for it. The water will be useless if you are not thirsty. Water is only useful when you are thirsty because it will quench the thirst. Land in the above verses of the Scripture can be likened to a nation, individual, your career, your business, your household. God has promised us that He will pour floods on us until we are blessed abundantly. That promise will come to pass in the name of Jesus Christ Genesis 32:24-28, “24And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day. 25And when he saw that he prevailed not against him, he touched the hollow of his thigh; and the hollow of Jacob’s thigh was out of joint, as he wrestled with him. 26And he said, Let me go, for the day breaketh. And he said, I will not let thee go, except thou bless me. 27And he said unto him, What is thy name? And he said, Jacob. 28And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed.”
You require passion to wrestle. When you do not have a passion for something, any challenge that comes your way as a result of that thing, you will turn your back and flee. When you have passion for something, you will not give up until you possess it. Tonight, God will set you up for a new name in the name of Jesus Christ.
The blessing of God will not give you fear. Jacob was blessed, but fearful because he got the blessing through stolen identity. When he wrestled with the angel, his name was changed and his blessing was secured in God.
1 Chronicle 4:9-10, “9And Jabez was more honourable than his brethren: and his mother called his name Jabez, saying, Because I bare him with sorrow. 10And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.” It does not matter the condition of your birth, what matter is what you do with it. God is delights in blessing people. He is happy when you are advancing in life. When your life is glorified, God is glorified. But when things are not going well with you, God is not happy. God will bless you indeed in the name of Jesus Christ.
1 Samuel 1:15-20, “15And Hannah answered and said, No, my lord, I am a woman of a sorrowful spirit: I have drunk neither wine nor strong drink, but have poured out my soul before the LORD. 16Count not thine handmaid for a daughter of Belial: for out of the abundance of my complaint and grief have I spoken hitherto. 17Then Eli answered and said, Go in peace: and the God of Israel grant thee thy petition that thou hast asked of him. 18And she said, Let thine handmaid find grace in thy sight. So the woman went her way, and did eat, and her countenance was no more sad. 19And they rose up in the morning early, and worshipped before the LORD, and returned, and came to their house to Ramah: and Elkanah knew Hannah his wife; and the LORD remembered her. 20Wherefore it came to pass, when the time was come about after Hannah had conceived, that she bare a son, and called his name Samuel, saying, Because I have asked him of the LORD”. Hannah’s story changed because she had passion to have baby Samuel. She became mother of many children after samuel. God will visit you and give evidence of His faithfulness to you in the name of Jesus Christ. That testimony will manifest now in the name of Jesus Christ.
Mark 2:10-12, “10But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (he saith to the sick of the palsy,) 11I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy bed, and go thy way into thine house. 12And immediately he arose, took up the bed, and went forth before them all; insomuch that they were all amazed, and glorified God, saying, We never saw it on this fashion. Because you have not given up, that miracle will manifest in the name of Jesus Christ. God delays some miracles in order to have us connected to Him. He wants us to have deep relationship with Him. He wants us to love the miracle giver than the miracle lest when we get the miracle, we abandon Him again.
Those who have passion for miracle do not have plan B. They depend solely on Him as the only source of their miracles. Mark 10:47-52, “47And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out, and say, Jesus, thou Son of David, have mercy on me. 48And many charged him that he should hold his peace: but he cried the more a great deal, Thou Son of David, have mercy on me. 49And Jesus stood still, and commanded him to be called. And they call the blind man, saying unto him, Be of good comfort, rise; he calleth thee. 50And he, casting away his garment, rose, and came to Jesus. 51And Jesus answered and said
unto him, What wilt thou that I should do unto thee? The blind man said unto him, Lord, that I might receive my sight. 52And Jesus said unto him, Go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole. And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way.” Acts 14:7-10, “7And there they preached the gospel. 8And there sat a certain man at Lystra, impotent in his feet, being a cripple from his mother’s womb, who never had walked: 9The same heard Paul speak: who stedfastly beholding him, and perceiving that he had faith to be healed, 10Said with a loud voice, Stand upright on thy feet. And he leaped and walked.”
Prayer:

I believe for marital connection, I believe for job connection, I believe for peace in my household, I believe for victory in the battle I am facing, I believe for miracle baby, I believe for divine recommendation, I believe for increase in the name of Jesus Christ.
- Oh Lord, bless me indeed, enlarge my territory, let Your hand be with me, and keep from all evil in the name of Jesus Christ.
