YOUR OFFERING WILL MAKE YOU UNFORGETTABLE

Ephesians 2:6, “And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:”

You are raised together with Christ. You are in good company. The resurrection of Christ positions you among royalty. You are not down because you have been raised. You are not struggling to be raised because you have been raised already. When Jesus Christ was raised, you were raised together with Him. That is why nothing can defeat you unless you allow it. There is no position you cannot attain unless you do not desire it. There is no place you cannot get to unless you do not desire it. There is no office you cannot occupy unless it is not ordained for you by God. Once it is ordained for you by God, you will occupy it. No one on earth can intimidate you in life because you are above all. You are sitting together with the ancient of days. That is where you belong. We are leaning on the resurrection of Christ.

Your status in the realm of the spirit determines who you are. Irrespective of your earthly status, what matter most is your status in Christ Jesus. The celebration of His death and resurrection is the centre of our joy. Everything about you has another control centre in heaven. Everything about you is controlled by Christ Jesus and not by the earthly forces. You are not to be pitied; you are to be envied by others. You have dual citizenship; you must constantly lean on heavenly citizenship in everything you are doing in your life’s pursuits.

Offerings make you unforgettable. If you want to be remembered forever, give an offering. Give an offering to God, men and worthy causes. Give an offering of your resources (including your treasures, money, time, prayers etc.) You can offer your tears for revival, change of life, the barren woman to conceive, a derailed young man to retrace his steps back to God.

Offering is what you do to make you unforgettable. Anytime we talk about offering in the church, it goes beyond what we give as individual in church services. Many suffer in the church, because they do not fulfill their own parts of the covenant with God. Anytime we come into the presence of God, we are involving in spiritual transactions with Him. You will repent of your sin, God will forgive you. You will accept God as Your Lord and Saviour, I will come into your heart. You will give, it shall be given back to you. You will labour in the secret, you will be rewarded openly. Many Christians suffer for so long because they do not engage in things that will change their positions in life. Everything you do in life is an offering with an expectation of returns.

Psalms 20:1-9, “1The LORD hear thee in the day of trouble; the name of the God of Jacob defend thee; 2Send thee help from the sanctuary, and strengthen thee out of Zion; 3Remember all thy offerings, and accept thy burnt sacrifice; Selah. 4Grant thee according to thine own heart, and fulfil all thy counsel. 5We will rejoice in thy salvation, and in the name of our God we will set up our banners: the LORD fulfil all thy petitions.  6Now know I that the LORD saveth his anointed; he will hear him from his holy heaven with the saving strength of his right hand. 7Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God. 8They are brought down and fallen: but we are risen, and stand upright. 9Save, LORD: let the king hear us when we call.” 1Chronicles 12:22, “For at that time day by day there came to David to help him, until it was a great host, like the host of God.” You will receive marvelous helps in the name of Jesus Christ.

You will be strengthened. No matter who gathers against you, they shall bow for you in the name of Jesus Christ. There is power of remembrance in offerings.

Acts 10:2-4, “2A devout man, and one that feared God with all his house, which gave much alms to the people, and prayed to God alway. 3He saw in a vision evidently about the ninth hour of the day an angel of God coming in to him, and saying unto him, Cornelius. 4And when he looked on him, he was afraid, and said, What is it, Lord? And he said unto him, Thy prayers and thine alms are come up for a memorial before God.” Angels visit givers. Angels attend to them, whether they are saved or not.

Matthew 26:8-13, “8But when his disciples saw it, they had indignation, saying, To what purpose is this waste? 9For this ointment might have been sold for much, and given to the poor. 10When Jesus understood it, he said unto them, Why trouble ye the woman? for she hath wrought a good work upon me. 11For ye have the poor always with you; but me ye have not always. 12For in that she hath poured this ointment on my body, she did it for my burial. 13Verily I say unto you, Wheresoever this gospel shall be preached in the whole world, there shall also this, that this woman hath done, be told for a memorial of her.”

Esther 6:3, “And the king said, What honour and dignity hath been done to Mordecai for this? Then said the king’s servants that ministered unto him, There is nothing done for him.”
