Jeremiah 15:16, “Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O LORD God of hosts.”
In the presence of God, there is fullness of joy. Today, there shall be upgrade of joy in life in the name of Jesus. Psalms 16:11, “Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence [is] fullness of joy; at thy right hand [there are] pleasures for evermore. If you will ever be joyful, there must always be the fullest of God’s presence with you, the reality of God’s presence. The absence of God is the beginning of your sorrow. Man was happy until he left the presence of God Genesis 3:8, “And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden.” Both Adam and Eve left the presence of God that signaled the entering of sorrow to human race.
When God is present, sorrow is nowhere to be found. When God is absence, sorrow is present. Many rich men are in deep sorrow because their wealth cannot give them joy. In your heart, make room for God; in your home, make room for God; Put God at the center of your life and let other things revolve round it. Isaiah 61:3, “To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.” John 16:24, “Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.” Psalms 22:3, “But thou [art] holy, [O thou] that inhabits the praises of Israel. God’s presence in your life makes way for you in life. His presence in your life makes you be in charge of every situation and circumstance of life.
Jeremiah 31:12, “Therefore they shall come and sing in the height of Zion, and shall flow together to the goodness of the LORD, for wheat, and for wine, and for oil, and for the young of the flock and of the herd: and their soul shall be as a watered garden; and they shall not sorrow any more at all.”
Prayer:
- My joy shall be unlimited in the name of Jesus.
- Father, put songs of melody in my heart in the name of Jesus.
- Father, chase away sorrow from my heart, home, and my destiny in the name of Jesus.
- Oh Lord, let the joy of heaven be in my heart in the name of Jesus.
- Father, do not allow anyone or anything steals my joy from me in the name of Jesus.
